1. Check steering column lower pinch bolt. If you have ANY in-out 
play on your steering column, this bolt is worn. Replace it with a 
hardened bolt.   Having the column come out during an autox is 
somewhat..... inconvenient.

2. Is the wire to your alternator tight? Having it burn a hole in 
your oil filter on a race track can be embarrassing.
