You may sit upon your high horse and post nothing but spridget
content. But, wait, your last post had no useful spridget info.
My point is I didn't complain about cats, Frank Zappa, politics, or
whatever off topic crap YOU (or others) chose to post.
If I like the topic or have input, I'll post. I'm pretty sure I
didn't start the recent off topic stuff. Maybe I had more input than
others.
Another point is if you don't have a useful spridget topic to post
then your complaining about off topic posts is even worse than the off
topic posts.
Post something spridget related and useful, or don't. I don't care.
Or, keep whining. Whining isn't useful, though, and I consider it to
be off topic.

Some spridget people are also:
gun happy yahoos
cat happy yahoos
Frank Zappa loving yahoos
liberal yahoos (you?)
conservative yahoos (me)
etc
etc.

Since I didn't sign up for the Larry Daniels list maybe you should
start your own and then you can control the content, and decide when
enough is enough, as you put it.
I dunno who is holding a gun to your head forcing you to participate
but I'll ask them to please stop.
But, with 5 or 10 listers who were actively contributing to the
discussion, I don't see why they should stifle so you can have dead,
empty bandwidth.
It is not like the off topic content is displacing on topic content.
You don't like guns. We get it. Some of us do. I've been on this
list for a while and I've seen and tolerated much stuff I didn't care
for. It never occurred to me to try and stop any of it, though. If
we only posted spridget content what a boring list it would be.
