You could always hang a heat lamp above the top for about 30 minutes.

I finally get the junk cleaned out of my garage (unheated) so I can get the
midget out, but it is 23 degrees and I can't stretch the top to get it
clasped.
I guess I'll have to dig through my closet and find some of my old ski wear.
