Hi Michael,
I hope you're felling better. It took me almost a week to recover from a
similar injury, i.e. frostbitten fingers on the hand that was holding an air
grinder. I went to an emergency medical clinic to have them checked out to
make sure there wasn't lasting damage. The nerves in those fingers are still
recovering from a previous injury and prevented me from knowing I was hurting
myself.

Hi all,
Thanks for your concern. I just talked with our older daughter, who was
studying with another 4th year medical student when I called, and they agreed
from my description that I should have someone look at it, but that it is not
(yet) a desperate emergency. I will go to a walk-in clinic tomorrow morning
unless I start having any indications of infection tonight. She was also
incredulous that I was dumb enough to get frostbite working on an engine in my
shop. Sprigiteers must be whackier than she thought.
