Dunno bout everyone else's opinion, but I would recommend going to Joe Curto and buying a new pair of throttle shafts and a new pair of butterflies without the valves. They were only engineered to pass the period emissions tests, NOT to actually improve the emissions at all ;-) Joe insists that it only takes one good backfire to melt the solder and swallow the poppet valve. Is it worth the risk?
