Spark or gas. Does the system have the ballast resistor on the firewall? If
there is one in the system, and if it is open, the motor will start and run
as long as the ignition switch is grinding the starter. ...bill in oregon

Is the fuel level in the bowls going down significantly in the time it
runs?  That will lean it out. Will it run with the choke full on?
