There you go, Kirk.

That's a 1" hole (manual fuel pump) under that blanking plate in the lower 
crankcase beneath the pistons. Vent from there along with at least a 1/2" valve 
cover outlet and you should reduce crankcase pressure and any tendence of oil 
to foam at high rpm to virtually zero. 

Run my engine this way now. Virtually no oil use or leakage at 10.0-1CR on 
relatively fresh (less than 10k) Rivergate-built 1293.

With repsect to indicated water temps, Kirk......gauge accurate?
