Any A-series distributor will fit and work. The 1500 engine is a long
stroke design, and can handle quite a bit of total advance curve. Someone
else can point you to an internet site that has the specs on all the
different stock advance curves. I would find one from a '68 1275, and then
put a petronics unit in it.
