I have made the last 4 or 5 harnesses for my Sprites and the A40.
The Holy Sprite has most of a MKII harness and some Bugeye harness bits
and it has mods like a key start not a cable start.
Cig lighter (for cell phone charger)
I love the Brit wire scheme, and it's the same up til the Jaguar XJ6,
just that the 6 has a lot more wires. But the basic color codes are the
same, more tracer colors.
I always use the correct colors because down the road when you want to
add, or fix something, you will appreciate the correct colors.
To wrap up a harness I use hockey stick tape, it's semi cloth like,
sticks well, and 3 rolls for $6 does many harnesses.
And it comes in orange, black, blue, red, etc
