My chapter has acquired the "Roger Heil Bumpy Axel Stub Repair Sleeve
Installation Tool", also known as a Speedi-Sleeve driver for fixing
buggered rear axel stubs so they don't leak, especially when installing
the double-bearing rear hub upgrade. Why use a piece of tailpipe when a
machined device (+/- .001" from spec) made from stainless steel billet
will do the same thing?
To borrow this tool, contact our Sprite-Midget Club (Western Washtenaw
County Centre) president, Nigel Johnsfolly, to make amicable
arrangements.
This list, or a message to
johnsfolly AT gmail.com
will suffice for all official correspondence.
Tool is more or less in the public domain, if you should need to use it.
