The appraiser on my car used auction sales, ebay, and autotrader sales and
listings, along with a detailed list of the modifications made to my car to
come up with the fair value. The true definition of fair, is what would a
seller who is not under distress agree to sell the vehicle for, that a
willing buyer would pay.
