I have to agree, Jim. I am a big Mario fan, but Hill was the only
American-born World Champion.
I thought maybe Michael would show well when he went over there, but that
sure didn't happen -- for whatever reason. That didn't break my heart
because, as much as I am a fan of Mario, I think Michael is an a-hole after
a couple of personal experiences.

We heard he had gone into hospital Sunday as we watched F-1 coverage from
Valencia. I watched him race at the Glen back in the late 50s and early 60s.
I got to meet him, chat a little, and got his autograph in 2002 in Santa Fe
and will treasure that experience always. The only American born world
champion and a great gentleman.
Godspeed, Phil...
Cheers!!
