Oh no...

Look, my car will never be a concours contender.
Although as I've grown older I am taking the approach to make
it as original as I can.

And who knows, maybe Buster is right, maybe my original chip is
yellowed. Maybe I should look around for more original paint on the car.

I'd really like to see Busters car, as it sounds like he has done his
homework.

As for the official concours colors, I have no idea.
I think Bob is right, the colors from the factory may have been all
over the place.

Regarding the three LBC owners who came over on the 4th....
It was a little dissapointing as it was raining so the car could only be
looked at under florecent lights in the garage and not in the sunlight.
This paint really changes shades based on the light.

They all agreed the new paint matched the little chip of original paint.
They all liked the overall impression of the color of the car.

The E-Type owner seemd to feel that it looked a little tan or yellow
compared to his OEW Jag. However I did show him some other OEW
Bugeyes photos and I think it was clear to him that the bugeye OEW is
probably not comparable to the OEW on his later Jag.

The former Morgan owner had a buddy back in the early sixteis with a
Bugeye that he drove in quite a bit , sadly it was Primrose.
I was really hoping for "Yea! thats it.That is OEW as I remember!"
But that did'nt happen.

My brother was concerned less with the color and more with the execution
of the third coat!

Dave, did you really have a can of OEM paint? How long ago was that?
