Tracy,
Welcome to the list. I've found this list helpful many times since I first
signed on late last year. As for the manual - get yourself a good manual -
Bentleys are among the best I've seen although there may be others out
there others on the list can recommend.

I have not looked in a Haynes Spridget manual, but in the past have found them
(Haynes manuals) only borderline helpful - most of what's there you could have
figured out yourself. They are I guess decent for general maintenance, but
fall far short for help in a restoration.

Good Luck,
 - David

Howdy folks. I am restoring a 76 Midget. I am a long time Healey List
member and have just embarked on a full resto for my daughter's first car.

I am sure I will have tons of questions as time goes along. I have a Haynes
manual on it's way. Should I also get the Bentley Spridget manual?
