You'd better have comp axles and double bearing hubs if you weld up the gear
(and you'll still tear stuff up on the street).

Does anyone have a 4.55 differential they would like to trade for a nice low
mile 3.9? I would also like to hear if anyone has driven with this high of
gears. I am thinking I would like to weld the Spiders and spin some tires.
You won't be spinning any tires with a 4.55 but you will get a better hole
shot! It will hook up and go instead of squealing the tires. Ask any drag
racer... If you want to do burnouts, you want a 3.70 and more HP.
