Ryan,
I agree with what Frank C. responded. As long as you've got a CD player with
antenna jack on the side or a on a cable. I put a Sony CD AM/FM receiver in
there. I do need to leave the bottom ears on the console out about a 1/2" and
you will need to redrill new top hole and use a little longer screw but I can
change radio channels and change CD's as long as car is in 2nd or 4th gear. Not
an issue. Set of 6 x 9"'s in the back shelf and Miata Seats going in for this
Spring with headrest speakers. Spare XM Radio going in as well so Channel 74
Bluesville will be rocking in Bugsy.
PS Consider extending the fuseholder on the power supply so it is not located
behind the console. Don'rt ask me how I know said he as he needed to dismantle
the console this weekend after blowing a fuse when reconnecting the battery.
PSPS Also consider a small SPDT switch that you can use to switch radio
on/off. One side goes to a switched source that goes on when ignition switch is
turned on, the other goes to an always on source. Center post goes to power
wire on radio. I mounted little mini switch out of site under the dash. One way
normal operation, the other way I can listen to tunes with car off. Mount to
bottom of dash bracket on left side of dash. Simple to set up and use.
