The thing I remember most about the 8 tracks was we didn't need no stinkin'
fast forward or rewind. Had a button to change the track, but other than
that, you just had to just keep on drivin' to hear that special song again.
I remember driving...and driving...and driving...

You had to open up an 8 track tape and fix it?
Well like riding a bicycle, I guess you never forget how to fix an 8 track
tape. My Aerosmith tape had no visible tape in the opening so I almost
tossed it when I thought for a second and saw those 3 plastic clips. Yes, I
pried open the case, glued the tape back together wound it all back up only
to see I had a flip in the tape, did it again and stuffed it in the dash of
the 67 and it WORKS!
Now try THAT with a cracked CD ;)
