Robert,
You might not want to guess that the weather forecasters are going to be
wrong. This storm went through Nashville last night and was the worst storm I
have seen in my 60+ years. Most of Nashville was spared but the damage in our
surrounding areas is devastating. At least put your top up! 2 inch hail was
common and they are saying that the super-cell tornado that hit 5 miles north
of my house was an F5.

Hey send some our way! We haven't had a good snow in 6 years. Last one
was right after my first son was born. My boy still hasn't had the
pleasure of sledding down a snow covered hill, making a snowman or
having a snow ball fight. I'd love a snow day right about now. Folks in
NC don't know how to drive in the snow so everything closes up as soon
as you get a few inches of the stuff.
We've got a high of of 77 planned for today. Drove the Midget this
morning with the top down and the bike on the rack 10 miles into town
and then biked the other 10 miles. The weather channel website says
we've got this on tap for the afternoon:
"Gusty winds with strong thunderstorms developing this afternoon.
Damaging winds and large hail with some storms. High 77F. Winds SSW at
20 to 30 mph."
I'd take snow over large hail and damaging winds any day. ;-)
Luckily the weather forecasters are wrong about 95% of the time.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate with my commuting plans for this
afternoon.
Cheers,
Robert
