I paid attention when I drove to lunch today and realized I double clutch
every gear. Odd habit from teenage years. The friend that sold me my
bugeye taught me about English cars in '69. As I recall, he told me "The
English trannys don't downshift for $hit since their synchro cones are made
of butter". He then taught me to double clutch and that was that. Wise
fellow.
I've changed several clutches over the years, but never had to re-do a trans
rebuild. Hmmmmmm...?
