Actually, I'm very happy to say I have not seen or heard from (or even of) her
or the shower curtain in 19 years. Last I heard was 1988 and she was back in
Indiana.

Did she like it, and is she still using it? She probably thought it was a
lovely parting gift.

"Did that mean you replaced the shower curtain in your home with the one you
found?"

As much as I may have been tempted to keep and use it, I did the right thing
and sent it to my brand new ex-wife (along with most of the rest of the
household furnishings...)

"Most of us would never do any of these terrible things to our treasured
little Spridgets. But for a dented Triumph however.............."

Speaking of old Triumphs... While prepping the body of a MKIII Spitfire I
restored about 20 years ago, I found the driver side sill filled with a
wadded-up plastic shower curtain. Definitely stronger material than Burger
King or Taco Bell wrappers, but not nearly as environmentally friendly.
