When I lived near Philly and Aluminum prices were high, the thing was to
drive along the highways and cut down the street lights with the trusty
chain saw. Cut them into 8 foot sections, into the pickup or trailer and be

Here in Lima, we lost phone service at least once a week. Thieves wait for
new cable to be installed, then appear at night driving by. Throw something
up and over the cable, tie it to the vehicle and go. We finally went to a
microwave system.
