If you shorted the big terminals of the soleniod with a screwdriver and got no starter action, then your starter is bad, OR, the motor ground strap is bad. Check the simple first, ground strap. Take 1/2 of your jumper cables, the black one, and run it from the negative battery terminal to the motor and try the key. The solenoid should click. If the starter does what it should, look at the ground strap. If not, look at the starter. Cheers, Derf |
