you might consider a Rostra unit cruise control. They have a unit based on an electric servo instead of vacuum. This means easier mounting and less likely to fall off as you throttle opens to keep speed on long hills. You can wire it to run from the coil (tach signal) so that magnets and sensors on the drive shaft are not required. I have not put one in my car, but I have seen them used in streetrods. Trevor |
