On the brake fluid, if you use DOT 4, flush out the system with a little
rubbing alcohol, it is compatable with the fluid (both) and drys quick.
I have bled the system with alcohol to clean it out.
Rear axle seals are simple, with the brake drum off, remove the 1 axle
screw and pull the axle out. Replace the O ring and paper gasket.
For the rear axle bearing, you will need to remove the hub, 1 7/8 socket
or a dull chisel will work, left hand side is a left hand thread.
There is a rubber plug on the left side of the tunnel under the rug to
get to the grease zerk on the front U joint.
This works in therory only but it's always worth a try.
