I used to buy Amflo from Sears. Now I buy Amflo from Harbor Freight or  from
Mcfadden-Dale.  It all looks the same, and none of it ever leaks for me.
Some of my connectors are over 30 years old, and some are pretty recent. I
haven't noticed any difference over the years. I have noticed that Amflo has
two very similar yet different nipples and Harbor Freight often mixes them
together. One style works with my connectors, the other style leaks.
