had to take Studebaker to get Mercedes.

Lee Calan! On North Broadway. In what was one of S. H. "Wacky" Arnholt
showrooms in the 50's. I went there in the summer of 1980 as JRT was putting a
rebate on the MGBs to move them out as production wound down. I still have the
MGB
brochure I got from Calan's with the late Bs photographed with a number of
older MGs from Syd Beers' collection. At that point I think they only had MG
and
Triumph and they were gone by '82 or so. The other dealer I went to in the
city was Howard Orloff at who had MG, Triumph, Fiat, Volvo and Jaguar. Two
outta
five ain't bad and they're still in business. I ended up buying my Midget off
of Orloff's used lot a year later.
