Hi Crash,
I know that this isn't really Spridget related but how did you say that you
removed the 116E block Ford engine from your Seven? I am curious as the
E.Ford engine is a very tight fit in a Seven. Were you missing half of your
engine bay frame tubes or what?
By the way, to anyone interested - a Sprite powered Seven is a very
wonderful street racer! A good upgrade from a Bugeye or box Sprite. The
Sprite engines and transmissions are as you all know very reliable and easy
to get parts for and tweak. Sevens really do not have rust issues at all
either. Also the Sprite-powered ones weren't even that hard on the rear
axle or transmission mounts. Also the Spridget engine sits a little higher
in the chassis so that it doesn't act as a skid plate.
