Fred,
All I mean by "genuine interest in acquiring" is that I prefer not to spend
time with someone who only wants to see pictures or doesn't understand what is
involved in building or restoring a car. Google will provide hits for pictures,
as weill my own website, as well as Horler's book.
"unique oportunity to obtain" refers to the fact that there are less than 50 of
these cars known to exist in the U.S. (Some claim less than 30. I'm being
liberal by using 50.) What I am offering is not a pile of junk; but an
excellent candidate for restoration.
Expensive is a relative term. The price for the car I want to sell is less, far
less, than what it would cost you to bring your car to Maaco to have painted
and some routine but minor bodywork, and it's in that same finished condition.
And no the red is not for sale. That is a "restored" car.
