I have replaced the T'stat with a 160 and the studs with cap screws and a new gasket. Runs much cooler. Took it several miles and no overheating. BUTT --- popped the hood with engine running and there is a very fine spray of coolant coming off the fan. I cannot see any source. All hose connections seem dry. T'stat cover gasket seems dry. Cross-over hose between head and pump seems dry. Most spray seems near the water pump, which is only a few years old. Might that be it --- AGAIN??? chuck |
