I had my downflow radiator re-cored with a 3 row staggered core (meaning
fins in each row are off-set to catch more wind). 1380 engine in SoCal.
Still running cool after 3k miles.
Frankly, I prefer dealing with a local shop (if a quality problem pops
up) rather the usual suspects. Just my 2 cents.
