I do notice that the data plate pictured states "AN5L / 16138". Of
course it is screwed on and not riveted so who knows what this car is.

In all fairness to the seller though, he sounds like someone unfamiliar
with Sprites and probably bought he car with "1959" on the title and/or
reg.
One thing the auction photos prove: arrest-me-red and shiny tires make
for one great looking car.
