The magnet was there, the shiny part was missing, like the cap of the
magnet.
And yes, ndifferent dizzy, cap, rotor, and wires and still a miss.
BUT My head gasket arrived today, it's on, so is a new intake gasket.
Fired it up and it had a dead miss. That disc under the rotor with the
funky magnet was just touching the sensor and causing no spark at #1.
#1 was the problem cyl originally. So I moved the disc around on the
dizzy, now the miss is at #3. But it's a constant miss, no spark.
So I tossed the electronic unit and wentback to good ole points.
No more miss.
I did have spark with the 2nd dizzy so I am guessing the ever so
slightly boogered intake along with a funky electronic unit was the
problem(s).
Now if I conquered the head gasket leak too, I'll be a happy Spridgeteer.
