In the early 1970's we lived in north Texas and had a friend in southern
Oklahoma who made his own home brew. One day he drove his Midget down to
visit, with the top down, and had the passenger floorboard filled with mason
jars full of homebrew.
In the late 60's Texas north of Dallas was all dry. Marietta OK was the
closest place to buy Coors, not sold in Texas. About 40 miles north of where
I
was attending college. You can only fit two cases in the passenger floor
board if you have a 17 year old redhead in the passenger seat.
