Run a hone thru it with WD-40 or some sort of lubricant. Should clean up well.
If you don't have a hone, you can get one at any auto parts store.

reservoir has been dry long enough that there is some
rust on the walls. A first inspection indicates it is
relatively minor. The bores are nice and slick. Does
anyone have a suggestion regarding cleaning the rust
from the reservoir?
