Split-personality Midget

Years ago, in Maine, I saw a Midget with a square arch on one side and 
a round arch on the other. I always wondered whether this was the 
result of enthusiastic but ill-conceived restoration, or if it came 
from the factory that way.

Has anyone else on the list seen this car?
