Apples and oranges. Not a stock application....

......any more than was my PO'd Vizardized 1340 with the VP3 cam, large intake 
valves, 45DCOE, etc. which also got better mileage at 4K+ than at lower rpms. 
All a matter of
max BMEP in accordance with cam profile, ALL other factors being equal and/or 
remaining the same.
