David, why should this surprise you, there was probably a small cloud in
the sky on that perfect 80* day.
Or it was too light out and we all know that light is followed by dark.
Can you imagine rallying in a big Healey?
Not me, whoever titled those "sports" cars are the same people who call
trucks "Sport" utilty vehicles.
When I went to an AHST rally when I was a member of said club.
I had the ONLY Healey, and it was a Sprite. There was a TR3 there and a
boatload of Honduhs.
But it was very similar to their Christmas party, my Sprite with a bunch
of BJ9s. But at the kite flying day I understood why they didn't drive
the Healeys. It was 72*, Mostly sunny, and breezy. I would never take MY
car out on such a lousy day either.
