All I have is a $6 toggle and a $5 dip switch on the floor ;)
Geez, your MG is almost as modern as one of those plastic Miatas.
On the stock original Lucas headlamp system from simplier days (no fancy
column dip switch) I have had Lucas H4s since about 1988.
I did replace my floor dip switch once but only because it didn't click
out of low beam anymore not because it burned out.
But I do agree with David, a relay can't hurt. But I don't know how to
wire a relay so I won't. I do have a drawer full of em too. Even NOS
Lucas relays.
