Subject: | rear hub oil seal |

In the process of trying to find out why the car isn't stopping well, I found the rear drum to be dripping wet with diferential . oil. So now I am replaicng the seal. Hub is out of the car, and beariing removed. The oil seal smells like and feels like it is burnt onto to the hub. Based on the fact that the locking tab on the rear bearing nut had never been bent down, I am guessing this is all orinigal to the car. What is the best way to remove the oil seal? David Oliner |
