I guess I was a little too vague. Both seatbelts have sensors to tell whether they have been buckled or not. The switch in the passenger seat is to determine whether to ignore the passenger seatbelt (if there is no passenger there) or to monitor the state of the passenger seatbelt. They assume that the driver's seatbelt should always be monitored. David Lieb |
