The first time it got stuck in second gear, I assumed it due to wear, so I replaced everything that was the slightest bit out of spec. Three months later it did the same thing, so I cut a washer from a piece of sheet metal to take out the extra play. That fix lasted for over twenty years. When I finally sold it, the transmission was the only part that still worked properly. BZ |
