Sounds like Paul has the hot idea. Rethink the problem, and attach a
readymade hole to the wrench. One little zap with the MIG welder and a
cheap washer joins the wrench for all eternity. If you lay the right angle
elbow of the allen wrench on the washer and weld it there, you would still
be able to use the long AND short end of the wrench.
