Most likely 'cause they made an
error? Most probably. 

Anyway, neither Haynes or Bentley are  actually FACTORY manuals
in any event and it would not surprise me if
the factory maint. manual didn't have an error or two....which they usually 
later correct with "addendums" ("revisions" if you will) to the original issue, 
as they did
with mine. But have I got ALL the addendums? Probably not. :)
