Actually, correct that, I'm leaving Thursday, as soon as I can get out of
work. Hard to believe but the buggers still expect me to work during racing
season. When will they learn?

I did three or four issues of the Spitfire book I believe. There are also
two versions of the GT-6 book. Yellow cover, the GT-6+, and the red cover
the GT-6 Mk 1 and 2000 sedan. There might some reprinted versions of these
books that were supposedly revised by Mike Barrett, but I've never seen
where anything significant was added in those versions..

Speaking of the Spitfire books, I DID NOT do the 1500 book.

Moss Motors, and the Roadster factory have inventory of both of my latest
books, the "Handbook" and the "Guide".

Peggy and I are DRIVING back to Atlanta to see even more of our great
country and will have a FEW books but not any great supply. I have only 10
of the original printing of the "Handbook" and 9 remaining of the
reprinted revised version of the "Handbook" but there is a good supply of
the second book, the "
Historical and Technical a Guide" . Here again, the Roadster Factory & Moss
Motors do have inventory of both books.
( to the best of my knowledge, which is always kinda suspect)

I understand there will an autograph session scheduled and I'll be happy to
see anyone with a new, old, used or tattered one of my books. Makes me very
happy to see how many people still regard those efforts of 40 years ago a
still worth the time to read.

A quick search on Abebooks came up with a hit:

ion&x=0>

That search points to <http://www.books4cars.com> (a regular advertiser in
VTR's _The Vintage Triumph_ magazine as having the Spitfire Comp. Prep.
Manual for $15.95. As I recall, the version for the GT6 was a different
manual that also included the Triumph 2000 sedan. Didn't check for that one.

It's possible that places like TRF might have it, too.
