About the hog feed/corn/methanol ... there's actually a better, more likely process. See http://www.mindfully.org/Energy/2003/Anything-Into-Oil1may03.htm among others. This guy has got a working plant, taking turkey guts and whatever else is left from a packing plant, and turning it into something like Texas light crude. I'm amazed that a) this isn't more widely known and b) that this guy hasn't been found dead in the East River. |
