whislt john is correct, we never saw evidence of blocked gauzes when the cars were new. over the years, the inverted gauze only seemed to clogged if m'tence was extremely poor and when used with cheap oil and in extremly cold climates. we ignored this service bulletin at the dealer cause it was a non event in new engines in our country. on our race engines, we make a pump and a half, by cutting and shutting. terry o'beirne |
