| He told me he couldn't fix it because it's a speed rated tire and the puncture was too close to the sidewall. Is this right or was he trying to sell me a new tire? Most any tire dealer will tell you that. The sidewall on a radial flexes so much that they will not plug them. Liability issues if it leaks! Go to K Mart and buy a plug kit and do it yourself...
