Yesterday we in NH had severe thunderstorms and even
a tornado. Today was the calm after the storm, with blue
skies, 72 dF, a gentle breeze, no humidity. So I rode my
motorcycle down to a soccer tryout in Groton MA.
While on River Rd (Rte 3A) in Hooksett NH around 6:30am,
what to my wondering eyes should appear but a Little Old
Healey, a pale yellow (or maybe OEW) Sprite with the NH
license plate BUGEYE. If it was you -- thanks, you made my
day.
On the ride home around 5pm, traveling through Pepperell
MA and Hollis NH along Rte 111 and 122, I passed a Big
Healey, in red. Whoa -- two sightings in one day!
A bit later, in Amherst NH, I passed a Sebring -- not quite
but close enough to make it three in one day. And then I
saw a Jaguar XK-120! Be still my heart.
I don't know what was happening in the area, but it sure
was a nice day for a LBC. Thank you, guys, for keeping
them on the road.
