Keep in mind that many of the inkcartridges have the print head on them, this is especially true with HP. Over time, scratches and wear will mar the print head and you will have more streaks, runs and less quality. This is my only opposition to doing the refill at home. As mentioned there are companies that do inspect and that is the way to go. Just .02 from someone in the industry.
