Dang, I've got an idea! C'mon down to Georgia and help me get my '65 on the
road! It doesn't need much - only a gas tank boil, new lines run, carbs
rebuilt and calibrated, cooling system rebuilt, brake system rebuild/new lines
bent, etc. Interior done. Minor rust (haha, yeah) fixed. Paint job. And who
knows what else...
I'll put ya up, cook, and even buy the beer! Did I mention I can sing and
dance, too?
Whad'ya say? W/ 3 girls, a new puppy (girl), a sailboat project, canoe project
(run over by a friends car last weekend!), and the '88 bimmer project/daily
72mi. round trip commuter, it'll be awhile before I can get to the 'ol healey...
Any takers?
Potty trainers? (see puppy, above)
German mechanics? (see bimmer, above)
Sailors? (see sailboat project, above)
Canoe builder (see canoe project, above - fibreglass repair!)
On an aside, I thought about y'all over the last 2 weeks. First, I bought some
cheapo chinese c-clamps from Wallyworld (walmart) to do a brake job on the bmw,
two turns on the 4" on the brake piston and the thing broke in half! Can you
say Pot Metal, boys and girls? Knew ya could.
Then, I'm in Sanibel Island, Florida, on vacation, looking at hats made by
Panama Jack. On the inside it says "Made with love and care in CHINA...".
Yeah right. I'm not falling for that trick again, folks!
You get what you pay for.
Chip - they're coming to take me away, ho ho, ha ha, he he...
